After months of work, my pony pattern is now available for sale on etsy!
There are two versions available. The $15 version is the physical pattern and shipping in the US. The $20 version includes the physical pattern (with shipping in the US) and a PDF emailed to you! Edit: Due to popular demand from overseas I've added a $15 PDF only option. That listing comes with an extra sneak peak at my most recent test pony!
You can purchase it here in my etsy shop.
Thank you so much for all your amazing support and patience!
Edit: Totally forgot to mention! Since I expect there to be a bit of a rush *little scared here*, I'm going to be dealing with the first few days of orders as a batch and shipping themnext Monday. Oops! I mean I'll be shipping them on Tuesday morning since Monday is a federal holiday and the post office is closed! -_-'
Tiny Little Pattern FAQ
Q: What will the pattern include?
A: The pattern includes: a heavy duty bag to protect everything, a coversheet with the pattern name / fabric recommendations / line drawings of ponies, 7 pages of instructions with step by step details on sewing ponies as well as a tips and tricks section with notes about stuff I find helpful, 5 pages of pattern pieces that will allow you to construct a female pony with two different manes/tails, a unicorn horn, and four possible styles of pegasus wings.
Q: What do the included manes / tails look like?
A: They look like the ones on this pony valleyviolet.deviantart.com/ar…? and this pony valleyviolet.deviantart.com/ar…?
Q: How big are the ponies?
A: A finished pony stands about 9.5 inches tall (not including her hair).
Q: How much fabric does it use? What kind?
A: I recommend 1/2 yard of fabric for the body and head and 1/4 yard for the mane and tail. I've made the ponies with quilting cotton and cotton flannel. I think they will probably work fine in minky, but I haven't tested that. If you haven't sewn plushies before I'd suggest using a quilting cotton for your very first pony since it's easy to handle.
Q: What will it cost?
A: A physical copy of the pattern mailed by first class mail anywhere in the USA is $15. I can also ship priority mail for an additional fee.
Q: Will you ship it internationally? What will that cost?
A: Yes. For an additional $5 I'll ship first class mail wherever you want. If you want priority mail or something else fast it is a lot more expensive (sadly).
Q: Are you selling a digital version of the pattern?
A: Yes. The digital version is available for $15 or there is a package deal of the physical and digital versions together for $20.
Q: Where are you selling the pattern?
A: On etsy. >>>>> RIGHT HERE <<<<<
Q: Can I use this pattern to make ponies for my friends / to sell / to light on fire? How many ponies can I make using this pattern?
A: You can do whatever you want with the ponies you make using the pattern. You can make as many as you like. (There can never be too many ponies!) If you sell them, I ask that you pretty please give credit that the pattern was used.
Q: Can I modify the pattern?
A: You can make changes to the pattern for your own personal use.
Q: Can I copy/change the pattern and sell copies?
A: I hope I don't have to say this, but no, please don't do that to me. ;_; There is a license on the pattern (at the end of the instructions) explicitly granting you the right to make copies and modifications for your own personal use. You can even sell/give/lend the pattern to someone else, as long as you give them all your copies of the pattern.
Q: Are you going to make a pattern for male ponies / princess ponies / fillies / zebras / griffins / moar manes and tails / half-monkey half-pony monsters?
A: There are a zillion things I'd like to make patterns for, but I'm burning out just a little bit. I'm part way through developing a male head pattern that will work with the existing pony body pattern. I'm hoping to finish the male head and release it with one or two mane/tail sets. After that I want to start working on a princess or "super model" body/head. I may need to take a little time off first so I don't go mad.

Happy Hearthswarming!
I hope folks are having a good time with winter holidays. :)
I wanted to drop by to let you know that we raised another $622 this year for Doctors Without Borders from sales of the Mane and Tail Pattern Set. <3
I have been doing a lot of knitting this year (I'm valleyviolet on Ravelry if you want to be friends :) ), spending time on work-work at my 9-5 job, and chasing a toddler around (he's 2 now, wow). I would like to get back to sewing and pony paper art in the future, but no promises on when I'll have time.
I am still watching and enjoying MLP. I hope you are all doing well, whether you're still fans or not.
Happy Heartswarming!
I just wrapped up the donation to Doctors Without Borders from all the Mane and Tail Pattern Sets that folks bought this year. It came to a total of $1160! Hopefully they can do a lot of good with that money.
I hope you all have lovely, pony-filled winter holidays and a peaceful transition into the new year. :)

I want to say thank you again to all the lovely people who donated patterns to make this possible: Stephanie Wilson, Adam L. Humphreys, angel99percent, Bakufoon, Bow Stitches, buttercupbabyppg, Cheryl Butler, Creideiki, EquinePalette, Maria Elvira Arteaga, Naox, Phe
So much writing... also giveaway
I just wanted to update everyone that I'm still working on the Mane and Tail Patterns. I'm pretty overwhelmed with how much writing there is involved in this one. There are 49 pages of just the pattern pieces... so you can imagine how many instructions and diagrams I need to do. >_<
I'm still planning on the April 30th release date. To celebrate that, I'm going to have a pattern giveaway. One person will win a complete digital copy of all my patterns and two other lucky winners will get a digital copy of their choice of one of my patterns.
To enter you must:
1. Be watching me.
2. Comment on this post telling me which of my patterns
